Liberty 1983
An era gone, senseless Empire destorying its own in pursuit of eternal warfare. This image taken at dawn on January 1st 1983 presiges the terrors, criminality and obsession with world domination the rulers in the USA prosectuted as their near 100 year old empire was in terminal decline. At that time I knew nothing of the plans already well in place for future events, yet innocently caught on 10"x8" a view that will always be iconic. As with another I took at that time 'Elegy to Lost Innocence' - these images come back and will surely resonate and haunt generations to come. The hope I wish for is that generations after my own will be courageous enough to seek out that Freedom, Liberty and humanity the founding fathers had envisioned. That the present travesties so duplicitously committed in the first two decades of the 21st century be assigned to the pit of evil intent must resonate for the many awakened and those about to awake.
